Summer
That is exactly how I have spent my summer thus far. There have been red, sandy beaches and expanses full of shells and rocks. Rolling waves have been met with water still as glass, as the sun set into the ocean or rose out of the fog. The call of crows greeted me, as memories of congested roads became fleeting…

And I hold it all in my mind’s eye as the city creeps back in again. I cannot leave the words behind and responsibility looms on their heels. East Coast memories linger still though and I slip back to their quiet shores once more. May the light from your beacon guide my way .
