Phone Calls

You remember those writing contests I mentioned to you last week? Have you been inspired enough to write anything? Good news; I have! The trick is though, upon reading the fine print for one contest, I realized it is a popularity contest of sorts. By the end of the contest, the 12 stories with the most votes move on to the final round to be assessed by a judge. That means that I need as many votes as possible to get a chance at winning the contest.

This is where I need your help.

I figured since I also gave you a chance to enter the contests by letting you know about them, perhaps you could repay the favour by heading over to the Canada Writes page to read, vote, and, if you want to be even more supportive, sharing my story. Perhaps it will inspire you to enter a piece of your own. Anyone can vote, whether you are in Canada or not. All you have to do is click the thumbs up symbol in the right-hand corner. Let me know if you enter a piece, so I can read yours as well.

Thank you!

I just might have to add these to my Place to Submit Your Work Page for further reference too. Let’s see if this inspires me as much as my last round-up of contests to enter. […]
